Saving the Sand Dunes

The answer to last week's riddle was: A LIBRARY.

This week we are talking about saving the environment.
In Saving the Sand Dunes, we read about 4th grade classes who created projects to stop the erosion of beaches in their communities.

Use these games to practice the skills we were using this week.

  1. What a wonderful website! And how reassuring to know that third graders are being taught about saving the environment. Well done! I'm an author and have just released a children's book that tells the story of a group of insects who try to save a polluted stream. There are messages about teamwork, friendship, being different and caring for the environment. Here is a link to the book if you're interested: http://www.strategicpublishinggroup.com/title/SavingSunnyStream.html. Keep up the great work!
